As a collective we believe in developing skills in students that are required to thrive in this world. In this journey we are trying to provide diverse opportunities to our learners so that they can explore themselves and choose their own destinations, instead of us telling where to go.

Sensitive Citizens

We want our learners to be sensitive citizens towards marginalized communities and the environment with a broad understanding of the social structure around them. By sensitive citizens we refer to those who operate with emotions and values of love, gratitude, acceptance, integrity and responsibility.

Constitutional Values

We believe the constitutional values can’t be directly injected into students. These are developed in schools which can result in students ensuring equality, respecting others’s liberty, valuing fraternity and voicing up for justice. These values are constitutional but can be traced in our day to day lives.

About Nanakmatta Public School

Nanakmatta Public School in Uttarakhand tries to build a student agency in the rural area with a special focus on 21st century skills and constitutional values. We are a group of learners who envision a natural learning space.

We cater to semi-urban and rural learners. We are collectively working towards enabling an education which is affordable, accessible and available to every kid.

A school where securing place in merit list is not bigger than exploring new ways of education

यह एक ऐसे स्कूल की शालीन अभिव्यक्ति है जहाँ बोर्ड की परीक्षाओं में पूरे राज्य में प्रथम 25 में से 6 बच्चे इसी स्कूल के हैं। इस उपलब्धि को बड़े बैनरों में छपवाने की बजाय यह स्कूल इसे सिर्फ दो इनवर्टेड कौमा में रेखांकित करते हुए इस बात पर जोर दे रहा है कि जो बच्चे क्लास के बाहर की गतिविधियों में भी रुचि लेते रहे वे भी मेरिट लिस्ट में जगह पा सके यानी नानकमत्ता पब्लिक स्कूल के लिए 'बाहर की गतिविधियां' ही मेरिट लिस्ट है।

धारा के विपरीत चलने के नानकमत्ता पब्लिक स्कूल के जज़्बे को तहे दिल से सलाम है। सलाम उन जुनूनी लोगों को भी जिन्होंने एन पी एस में अपना कीमती समय दिया और यहाँ के बच्चों में मेरिट लिस्ट में आने की बजाय जीवन की ललक को जगाने का काम किया।

Nanakmatta Public School is situated in Nanakmatta. Nanakmatta is an important seat of Sikhism and is part of Udham Singh Nagar, Uttarakhand. NPS is also known for its BioDiversity Club, Film Club, Community Library Initiative, AeroSpace Club, Wall Magazine initiative and many more such interesting initiatives.
